Thank you, Caring for Colorado Foundation
Our thanks to Caring for Colorado Foundation for a $60,000 grant to sustain the Child and Family Advocate at Providence at the Heights (PATH) our permanent supportive housing development. As part of its focus on Strong and Resilient Families, the foundation made it possible for PATH to bring on board this new position in 2022, which has made a world of difference to the kids and parents who live there.
PATH serves formerly homeless and justice-involved residents and for many of the kids, it is their first real family home. This is a busy time of year for the advocate, helping parents register their children for school, get vaccinations, eat breakfast, and leave for the school day with everything they need in their backpacks.
